Help for the elderly

A request for help in my attempt to introduce and encourage those elderly people who may be lonely and/or parted from their families to embrace the Internet and to reap the benefits even though they may be confused and frightened of all of the technologies.

hello, i have introduced my grand mother 88 to the internet a few years ago,,, but recently after i upgraded her internet to higher speed as she was getting impatient, I introduced her to YouTube,,, and she is loving it.. This would be good volunteer work. Not only would it provide the elderly with a way to spend time that satisfies intellectual curiosity, builds perspective, entertains, and allows them to communicate, but it would also promote democracy.

I introduced my …
I introduced my parents to Skype and Voip so that they could communicate with all their kids before they left our country (for work reasons). Although my parents, my brothers and I are living in 3 different countries we talk on a daily basis. I also introduced an aunt to Skype and created an email for an uncle.

The public library, or computers not used anymore, recycle operate for ones that wont buy one, or cant get out anymore!
